About the Journal

International Journal of Methodology (IJM) is an international journal that focuses on discussing methodologies used for research in the academic or industrial disciplines. Int. J. Methodol. provides a platform for interdisciplinary exchange of methodological approaches in research to different fields including new methods and instructional papers that can be used by the research community. The focus of the International Journal of Methodology (Int J Methodol.) is to publish new methodological approaches as well as improvements to existing methodology including research designs, experimental techniques, research characterization, data measurements, data analysis approaches, educational methods, etc. 

Research methodology is the specific procedures or techniques used to identify, select, process, and analyze information about a topic. Manuscript submissions are open for research papers focusing on research methodology as well as on research methods. International Journal of Methodology welcomes research papers on quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods; Studies describing applications of quantitative and qualitative methodology; and Articles synthesizing and popularizing methodologic developments.

The International Journal of Methodology (IJM) invites researchers and scholars to submit manuscripts that focus on the development, application, and evaluation of research methodologies. This journal welcomes original methodological studies, instructional and practice oriented papers, as well as critical reviews that advance understanding of research design and methods. Contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including science, engineering, social sciences, and education, are encouraged. Submissions are invited from doctoral researchers and above, including postdoctoral fellows, research associates, faculty members, and scientists engaged in academic or institutional research. As an open-access journal with an international readership, the International Journal of Methodology (IJM) provides a peer-reviewed platform for publishing rigorous and impactful methodological work. Authors are invited to submit their quality research and contribute to the continued improvement of research practices across academic fields.
